What sets
this firm apart from others practicing in the entertainment
field is that its 3 person staff (2 lawyers and a law clerk),
each have entertainment industry experiences as; performers,
technicians, or through exposure to some other facet of the
industry. This provides the firm's staff with insight into the
creative process and greater empathy for those involved in putting
a project together.
The firm was launched in the spring of 2005 by Andrew Tolomizenko
and his assistant of 6 years, Valve Leemet. It was a natural
progression for Andrew who had been providing legal services
in entertainment and corporate law as corporate counsel to The
Partners' Film Company Limited since 1997.
Within one year of its launch, it was clear that the addition
of another lawyer was necessary to meet the needs of the firm's
expanding client list. And so, Emmanuel Evdemon was brought
on board.
Andrew Tolomizenko Law Offices provides legal services to clients
in all areas of the entertainment industry, however, the majority
of our clients seek advice for their film, television and new
media projects. Private corporations law is a necessary adjunct
to the firm's entertainment industry practice as many of our
clients are production companies. This area of practice involves
advising clients on the most appropriate business model for
their ventures and managing the majority of a corporation's
legal affairs. |
