Valve is a certified law clerk and an associate member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Valve has been Andrew’s assistant since the winter of 2000 when she began assisting him at The Partners’ Film Company Limited when he was its in-house general counsel. When Andrew began his independent entertainment law practice in the spring of 2005, Valve joined him. She welcomed the opportunity to assist in the building and managing of the practice and continues to value the ongoing challenges and rewards in servicing the practice’s clients as a skilled law clerk.
In addition to her experience as a legal professional, Valve brings to the practice an appreciation and understanding of arts and entertainment from the artists’ and producers’ perspective. Numerous years of experience in amateur sport (rhythmic gymnastics), theatre and professional dance (as a performer, producer, stage manager), and as a freelance and full-time employee in various capacities in film production, allows her to relate to the unique demands and issues encountered in the field of entertainment. |
